Les Paul For Sale

the guitar to get?

I played acoustic for a while, and I want to start playing electric. I always loved guitars Fender but my friend recommended a Les Paul. http://www.musiciansfriend.com/product/Gibson-Les-Paul-Vintage-Mahogany-Electric-Guitar?sku=517536 Should I buy this? I'm on a budget so you have to buy a decent amp with this and I try to spend less than 1200.

If you're on a budget and you say, as you Fender Guitars I recommend going with a Les Paul Stratocaster. Gibsons guitars are definitely great, but cost twice as much as a beginning. If this is your first guitar, go to Start menu - get a high quality amplifier and see how things go. If you really like to play electric guitar, buy the Les Paul a bit later (when you have $ 1.000 for spend on a guitar). I have a fat start and I like (even if the custom shop and costs, as well as .... Gibson, but it is important fat Strats are guitars only awsome ).... However, my favorite guitar of all time .... a Gibson one day be able to afford. Epiphone are total rubbish compared to a Gibson or a Fender. If you are looking for a good guitar that leaves you enough money for a nice amp, then you should go with a Fender IMO.
