Why is there no logo or the serial number on neck plate of some models of electric guitar again?

I've been playing acoustic guitar for a long time, but now I'm seriously electrical side of things. I want to buy a Squier Telecaster Vintage Modified II, but only can afford a special occasion Epiphone Les Paul II at the time. My problem is, so the guitars I've seen models that do not have a serial number or logo on plate the neck of the guitar. I have heard that these guitars are made in Korea (or somewhere nearby) and get very bad and play horrible. I am most likely going to buy these two guitars. Is the situation of the neck plate something that should be worried?

just cheap guitars in the trash thay do not bother to put anything in the plate neck because it takes time and money and if two of them play like garbage, but that is because thay are cheap. Do not buy two to save up and get something better.
