Silver Epiphone Les Paul
color choice on guitar collection Silverburst?
I recently bought a copy of Les Paul Silverburst finish. I have a couple of Gibsons, but wanted a similar guitar (not epiphone) to waste time with some modifications. The first thing you plan to do is replace the pads with a pair of Seymour Duncan ('59 Configuration / JB). I'm torn between the silver cover (as illustrated in the link), or plain covered Black. It does not sound as if looking for anything but an opinion on the choice of color, so I'll stick with that. I have an epiphone silverburst (so no epis Slammin) and had the same problem. Most originate silverbursts shares covered pads. I wanted to change mine out as well. I went with the black and am happy with the election. It looks great with black in the silver body. They look great with dark ebony fingerboard too much on him (not to mention the benefits tone fb ebony with the pills SD). good choice. send an audio clip when you get installed.
