Les Paul Epiphone Pickups
Pills to replace my Les Paul DiMarzio !!!!?
I'm looking to replace the pickups in my Epiphone Les Paul Standard, I am looking Dimarzio DP215 DP158 or paired with DP102X2N paired with ????? total budget of $ 200 i play classic 70 mostly rock, hard rock and a touch of metal
Hi Fi, if you have a Les Paul style guitar DP158 and DP215 is a good choice .. How time DP215 (EVO2) is slightly rounded and less powerful Evolution 2 compared to the EVO .. Ideally, put the Original EVO DP159 (DP159) to the bridge position in tandem to DP158. Although you can put the EVO 2, great players would the strong rebound in the bridge position with more dynamic range than the neckline, EVO different options, would be either super or distortion tone zone, together with (DP158) model EVO-Bridge ... I have recently launched a guitar to a customer who has chosen to Dp150 and DP155 (Tone Zone) .. Play more 70-metal classic and runs it through a Marshall JVM Distortio with a tube in the front. Vintage sounds. The science behind the creation of pick ups is to have a decent tonal range between the pads (to pick a lowest address and executives in one of the mids and highs) - when changing from the neck to the bridge, not raspyness should be a place just on the sound though - it wants to continue changing the equation of the amplifier. When playing live concerts, all you can control is their choice and therefore a couple of pills in the same tonal range and output harmonic spectrum is the most appropriate.
