Gibson Epiphone Strat Style
Choosing an electric guitar: Fender Stratocaster or Epiphone Les Paul Special II?
I am a beginner and i play music is classic rock. I wanted defense to get a start, but I prefer the Epiphone Les Paul Special 2 style, it's like the gibson. my friend sells defenses for a reasonable price, and when I told him could have the epiphone, he said it was a good guitar and I should get the fender (idk if he was just trying to sell me a guitar). Also I heard that Epiphones are cheaply made, but I do not know if I believe it. the fender is $ 150 (and comes with an amplifier, and I can hold it before you buy) and epiphone is $ 170 (comes with nothing, and I have to buy online, which is a diversion, but in general prefer), so here are some questions: what is better for a beginner who plays classic rock? which is preferred by players of Guitar Pro? are both worth the price? either above or below a price? which is made better material? which one is better overall? thanks =)
