Gibson Epiphone Amps
What kind of amplifier (s) are adapted to these guitars?
I am interested in a little reaction yahoo musicians. I have several different guitars and I have curiosity what would be the best amplifier for all the guitars I have. My main guitar is a Schecter Omen-6, C1FR Schecter, an Epiphone Zakk Wylde, 60's Fender Start, Fender Frankenstrat (a guitar built myself), Ibanez S7320 (seven strings), and Gibson Les Paul Standard. The two new amplifiers I've been looking at are either a Peavey 6505 or 6505 + or a JCM800. Does anyone have any suggestions on amps that would be suitable for all guitars I play?
Marshall JCM (IMHO) the amplifier is a big problem, and you'll find nuances of each amplifier to try. I personally use a Fender and a Marshall M80 MG100 DFX:. I have used Peavey Deuce, a box of 130, and a line of spider. 6 to your liking is his, and I suggest that (in the study of the guitar your options) that appear as have an affinity for heavy effects, the JCM (Marshall) would be your best option. (IMHO) the clean channel of the amplifiers are phenomenal, and you can get a great mix of dry and dirty. the decade of 6505 was van halen as effects. and also give you a great mix of dry and dirty too. but my story is a classic rock and oldies, so I lean heavily on my clean channel. I have a (an early 80) Japanese begin, and a Sheraton Epihone 2. and after years of working on the details, who are these my best personal decisions. and suggests the quarterback.
