My guitar makes a funny noise?
I have new chains many times, grocery shopping and fixing tryed 3 times. just made the worst. I the return path taken 30 days to return I can not and do not know what to do. when playing the string that makes a sound like "cha" and sounds a bit like a broken ukulele. its an epiphone.
Well first of all, I want to start going to a different music store. Is this the shop where you bought the guitar? If so, they must stand behind their products. Any music store of good will have competent repair people who are able to service what they sell. If you ordered the guitar over the Internet or out of a catalog, then that's part of the problem. Most music stores are not interested service products that do not sell (some) and I can not say I blame them. Your problem may be a number of different things and it is impossible to diagnose without seeing and touching the guitar. All you can do is find a competent and take the guitar to him. I know it's not always easy to find a good guitar tech, especially in a rural area, but seems to be about your only option at this time. If you live in a big city must be able to find one in the yellow pages instrument repair. Good luck!
