Too close to the low strings fret board?

I just got my new thunderbird Epiphone bass guitar in the post today, opened it, tuned it and found that the strings are too close to the fingerboard and the strings are rattling. Any person who has this bass guitar had the same problem and how to solve it:) Thank you Matt Dawson thanks:) just did it and sounds great: P would have voted but I am only sorry Level 1

Hello, most of the guitars that there is something called the soul, this allows the guitarist to change the "action" (the closeness of the strings to the fingerboard). In Thunderbird, which is located in the head, under the plate that says epiphone on it, it is recommended you take it to a repair shop to do this because they are qualified, even if you do and do damage to your guitar in any way the warranty is void.
