Epiphone Thunderbird Guitar Center
What would be the bass guitar for me?
Me and my friends are starting a band this summer (yes cheesy i kno locked haha) but I'm not sure what i should look low. I just went to Guitar Center today and they put aa couple in front of me and I liked the most were those of Squier 70's Vintage Modified J-bass and an Epiphone Thunderbird. I heard that Thunderbird can get a little mud and I realized that. I liked the rich tone and punch of Squier, but I'm not sure if that is really correct you should get. I've been playing for about 2 years now, through teaching myself (as well that's probably like 2 months of being taught by a professional teacher or whatever) so I'm looking for is not the best you can buy low. I'm looking for a range of price under $ 700. ideas or comments?
The new squire series are actually good. For the amount of money, but could actually go out and get a version defense (the Mexicans). If you get a defense (not squire) under special p, a point with a J and P will be a low pick versatile style that suits many them with great sound quality. Try playing a defense that will notice the difference in the quality of the squire and fender, especially if you pick one of the series American luxury with active pickups.
