Epiphone Style Pickguard
Wooden pickguard epiphone Explorer sticky?
I have an Epiphone Korina Explorer (black) I want to try a few cosmetic improvements, I have some new comes in tablet form (emgs) and a new bridge tune-o-matic. I hear the wood can add a little heat to the pitch as a plus to aesthetics. I want to a rosewood pickguard like the guitar has a rosewood neck and thought it was a good game. The hardware is gold (except the new bridge is black, but uses original wood posts, gold) is the proper style to go, or if I get some aluminum. The striker's finish is so dark it is displayed on black, so I do not think it will be bad taste in everything. When I saw "timber" in your question, I sort of shrugged because I was imagining a more wood finish through which light could see the grain. But the one in your link seems appropriate and complement the hardware and the black gold bridge very well.
