Epiphone Strat Body Guitars

What should I do on the guitar from a friend of the band?
My main music is classic rock and blues based rock. I've been playing for 6 years and own an Epiphone Les Paul, Epiphone SG, a Jackson Dinky DK3. I'm pretty sure I want my instrument with a defense, because I was own a home that I loved (made the mistake of selling). I will not go too crazy expensive, in the range of 500-800, is expected around 600-700. I've chosen now is a Vintage Fender FSR Standard Stratocaster w / ash body. I would ideally located with this guitar, that is, it looks beautiful and is $ 50 cheaper than normal, but do not know what this "FSR" mean? I do not want to buy something I'll regret, so I hope someone can explain? And I'm still open suggestions on other guitars, but I'm pretty sure you want to start. Link to the guitar that I just mentioned: http://guitars.musiciansfriend.com/product/Fender-FSR-Standard-Stratocaster-Vintage-Noiseless-Ash-Electric-Guitar?sku=620784
It is synonymous with special factory run according to this review -> http://reviews.harmony-central.com/reviews/Guitar/product/Fender/Special+Edition+Standard+Ash+Stratocaster/10/1 another useful Index -> http://acapella.harmony-central.com/showthread.php?t=2428134 I only play acoustic, so I can not really help, sorry.

Guitars $78.07 High Quality Content by WIKIPEDIA articles The guitar is a musical instrument of the chordophone family, being a stringed instrument played by plucking, either with fingers or a pick. The guitar consists of a body with a rigid neck to which the strings, generally six in number but sometimes more, are attached. Guitars are traditionally constructed of various woods and strung with animal gut or, more recently, with either nylon or steel strings. Some modern guitars are made of polycarbonate materials. Guitars are made and repaired by luthiers. There are two primary families of guitars: acoustic and electric.
