My guitar jack?
I was playing my guitar I took the cable out and boom, and a ring nut came off, and the cat entered the guitar, so unscrew the back of the guitar and put it all back, but the problem persists, what should I do? My first thought was taking it back to guitar center and get a new one or repair it for me to tell. But i do not have cause I do not want you to know that I have manipulated the inside of my guitar. By the way my guitar is a Epiphone sg special edition.
What happens depending on the amp / guitar, internal wiring of the outlet or quarter-inch cable can carry out and / or rust. If you know how to weld, this is a great opportunity to practice that. However, if you do not know what you're doing, it is probably best left someone to do it, and try to learn what they are doing. If you are curious: There are generally two types of 1 / 4 inch jacks: Stereo, Mono y. stereo has three connections, two for audio and one for the land. Mono has two connections, one for audio and one for the land. If you were to open the jack and examine the wires, check anything 2-3 out of cables and connections and make sure they are not disconnected, then check to see if the wires are off, melted, or oxidized (if rusty, you will notice dust fall and probably get on your hands, wash hands and trying not to get in a carpet well.) If there is anything in there is not Healthy and hopes that the new welding in good health, go for it. Otherwise, good luck! Proof of the store.
