Epiphone P-90 Guitar
Can you replace a humbucker with a P-90 and vice versa?
Ok, I have two scenarios for you, so here goes (answer both): (1) I really have a squire fat start (link http://www.squierguitars.com/products/search.php?partno=0310700564), so you want to replace the pickup bridge (which is an open coil humbucker) with a Gibson P-90 or P-94 (Link 1: http://www.gibson.com/en% 2Dus/Divisions/Gibson% 2D90% 20Gear/Pickups/P% 20Coils% 20Single Link 2: http:// www.gibson.com / in% 2D94% 2Dus/Divisions/Gibson% 20Gear/Pickups/P /). Is that possible? (2) Say I have an Epiphone Casino (which going for $ 500 these days, by the way) and I want to replace the bridge P-90 with a BurstBucker # 1. Is that possible? By the way, I know the pills in a FSS Escudero sucks but I have no money to replace any yet. I do not want a good start for a guitar, I'm probably going to upgrade to a casino next door and possibly make the scene 2.
Squier to replace the humbucker with a P90, just be sure to get the kind Dogear and goes to work. To replace the P90 in the Epi, you may have to do a bit of a change and make sure you have the ring that goes with the Burstbucker the hole it in. If you can not get to remain constant in the axis ..... Gorilla tail breaking Duct Tape, the only tools that a real man never needs .... oh yes, WD-40 as well.
