Epiphone Les Paul Custom Plus
Why choose a humbucker guitar with a third party?
I'm looking to buy a new Epiphone Les Paul electric guitar. I hesitate between 3 or more custom Black Beauty. Beauty has third humbucker. What are the benefits? I only played for almost a year (though I am a serious player.) Will I to really see the difference with a third truck? Thanks!
I think the pill is simply an exaggeration third normal, and I agree it seems rather strange. In theory it should be able to get a greater variety of sounds with the third collection ... like a Fender Stratocaster. But humbuckers are a different animal Fender single coil. My thought is that if you like the sound of Les Paul, get a traditional configuration with 2 microphones. Many music professionals seem to think is all you have.
