How cold makes your instruments?
I have a Fender Jazz Bass 72 my two guitarists have a fender start and an Epiphone LP and Jackson dinky central bank drum kit were thinking about playing for the Christmas Parade.
Hello! Both Kevin and Bill have stuck in the cold effect will in the development of their stringed instruments. If you visit often tuning through the first part of your performance, you should be fine! My biggest concern would be finished with the guitar and drum surfaces. Wood and paint will not expand or contract at the same rate and, consequently, also the sudden temperature changes can cause the paint to break the tension. Be sure to allow the media to acclimate to the outside temperature, leaving in their cases until they play. After complete performance, replace each instrument in their respective cases, and allow them to return slowly to room temperature (the seat of the car, drive home, and stay inside the box for several hours.)
