I just bought a epiphone sg yesterday and hit my head my bed. Shoe polish might work. If you have some, try to see if it works. There are also these little sticks (which are the same size as the typical woman of a lipstick) sold in stores like Home Depot construction which are basically designed specifically for retouching damaged wood.
