For advanced guitarists and luthiers: Does anyone know of a winding string on a guitar works doubleneck?

Pretty simple question .... I never I have seen a string winder that fits between the two heads guitar to change the strings of a doubleneck 1275. I reviewed the guitar forums and seems to be a complaint universal. I have to change the strings to a clearer indicator due to surgical arm and my hands need to build strength again. Cranks normal but do not fit. Perhaps the Left-T or another player for a long time might be able to suggest anything other than the old days it takes to start finger freakin 'ever! Any ideas would be appreciated. I thinking maybe an extension of the rotating head of a ratchet with a socket that fit over the "Ivory" tuning keys in an Epiphone / Gibson. That's all I can imagine. So long my fellow guitarists ... Any ideas? Thank you very much

I do not know of a string winder adjustment but I can make a suggestion that may help. I found that if I use the "block" method of setting the strings in the post adjustment, which can get by with 1 to 1 ½ times around the pole. http://www.fretnotguitarrepair.com/stringing.htm fewer laps around the post really eliminates the need for a string winder. Once I started locking my strings, I stopped using a string winder because it was more trouble than it was worth it. An added benefit to blocking the ropes and under winds is that the new chain will settle in quickly. I am of the opinion that extend new chain is mainly installed in metal compared to the real stretching. It seems counterintuitive at first, but I'm less slippage of chain with less wind. My apologies if I'm telling you something you already know.
