Epiphone Dot Guitar Case
guitar neck has a crack?
My Epiphone Dot has a crack in the neck and not know what if anything should I do about it. I just opened the case a day and was not a crack on both sides of the nut on the back of the neck curved toward each other. I could not think of anything he had done, except to the heavier chains (0.9 's to 0.11' s) The guitar still plays well and sounds great, but where its moving cracking a bit. I was wondering if there is something I can do it, and if I do something, and still plays very well. Thanks.
Sal has to deal with it sounds (from your description) as a problem / in the neck of the head. You should think about loosening the strings and have looked away. Given that it is this: If it's a clean crack is not necessary to correct any varnish finish after fixed should not be so expensive. I have pasted hundreds of these cracks head neck. But we definitely need to know what you're doing: And others have said change to heavier strings on a steel string or electric guitar will not do this type of damage alone.
