Guide to buying your first electric or acoustic guitar
Buying a first guitar can be very confusing, especially if you do not have foreknowledge of brands, models and how they work. Ultimately, the purchase of the guitar is very similar to buying cars: each model has its advantages and defects. However, if you do a little research before you go ahead and buy your first guitar should be "safe."
First, you must decide what type of guitar you want to buy: an electric or an acoustic one? Maybe you do not like or, but want to start moving in a low at all (yes, product bears are hot, when it comes to finding a band.). To help you decide, ask what kind of music is intended to start playing. For example, it is almost mandatory to invest in an electric guitar if you intend to play styles like metal, rock and blues. However, if you intend playing folk, classical or country music, an acoustic guitar would be more practical. Beginners may find it more acoustically beneficial as it is a bit harder to play, but will make the domain of the electric guitar much easier in the future. Acoustics are also more practical in the sense that they are cheaper, more portable and easier to carry. Moreover, the power will have many more additional costs For example, an amplifier or effects (which can cost more than the guitar itself!).
It is recommended that the first guitar you buy is a new one from the store. The why I would recommend is that you can almost guarantee to get your instrument in perfect working order and have a warranty in case something breaks or fails. The only downside to this is that it costs more.
However, buying a used guitar is not a bad idea either. It is good to avoid the purchase of a line instrument used, if your first, unless the seller is a dealer known and promises to create the instrument prior to shipment. I bought the guitar used once was Aria Pro II a Japanese Fullerton and was by far the best guitar I've had (I have a collection of Fender guitars) and I bought it from a Japanese distributor well known on eBay. If you buy a used guitar face to face, it would be crucial for you to bring a friend with you intelligent guitar for the operation, as you probably know what to inspect before buying his first ax. Buying a used guitar definitely has its monetary benefits, but make sure you know what is buying before you buy.
I recommend you visit one of the largest communities of online guitar at <a target = "_new" rel = "nofollow" href = "http://www.ultimate-guitar.com/forum"> http://www.ultimate- guitar.com / forum </ a> and ask for advice in the forum before buying a guitar. There are people very knowledgeable and helpful on that site, so feel free to ask anything related to the guitar (not related).
Beginner Recommendations Guitar: Squier Affinity Series, Epiphone Les Paul Standard and G-400, no guitars Cort, Mexican defenses (If you have the money), probably any guitar Made in Japan.
Stay away from: Squier Bullet (my first guitar, one of the worst guitars made there), Harley Benton guitars, low-end Ibanez (400 $ or less), low-end ESP-LTD (Models 400 and less), low-end Gibson. On the other hand, almost anything made in China.
Recommended for beginners Guitars: Yamaha Anything, anything made in Japan. You also want to make sure your guitar is not wood, so anything having a "solid wood top is very good. In addition, Cort Earth acoustic guitar, in my opinion the best (It's also very affordable).
