Very simple question, What bass guitar is better?

I was in the guitar workshop week one, two basses and saw that I liked, the first is a Hofner VIOLA (Beatles) bass, the other a EPIPHONE THUNDERBIRD IV. Now what do you prefer?

I can not really say because I have not played any of them. Lookswise prefer the Hofner and is likely to have much better build quality than the Epiphone as well. Although you only have to play both and see which you like more!
