Changing Epiphone Dot Pickups
What do you think a reasonable price for this guitar is?
I have a Black Epiphone Dot. Its nearly four years, but is in perfect condition. It I bought for my son's new brand for about $ 350, but soon lost interest in guitar and gave it back to me. I did a little better with this. Changed Epiphone pills and put some Gibson humbuckers from there. Also installed a Bigsby on it, and changed the pots to a Gibson, with some speed controls Gibson black. The original tuners are Grover a great job. I also got a selection of Gibson guard. A friend of mine buy and sell guitar parts, so the only reason I have all the parts Gibson. I put them very cheap, otherwise you will not waste my time and money on an Epiphone. But anyway this sound Great guitar that would not even know it's a $ 350 guitar.
Bought and sold a lot of my time axes. Upgrading a tool low-end usually does not increase its resale value. In the eyes of a buyer, which remains a Epiphone. Gibson parts is a nice sweetener may allow you to sell more fast, but I'd be surprised if you have more than $ 200 for it. The best place to get the value of the extras, surprisingly .... is Ebay.
